George Barris signed this photo on the bottom right side in dark ink before he passed away. This is from Marilyn's last photo shoot with George Barris in June 1962. This is a First Generation, printed in circa 80's. These are the last photo's taken of Marilyn. These rarely come up for for sale especially directly from Marilyn's personal photographer and friend. This is a very unique opportunity to acquire a piece of history. Back in June of 1962. Assigned the photographer George Barris to capture Marilyn Monroe around Los Angeles, which he obligingly did over the course of several weeks. The resulting 150 photos, taken which stretched from beaches where Monroe writhed around in a bikini in seaweed to the Hollywood Hills where she wore heels to climb a chain-link fence, felt celebratoryuntil a few weeks later, when Monroe unexpectedly passed away at age 36, making the Barris sessions her final photo shoot.
